Isaac CodexSources & credits
An unofficial personal project, made by an Isaac player out of love for the game.
Wiki reference material
We are grateful to the contributors to The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Wiki (wiki.gg) for recording and sharing their knowledge of the game. A substantial amount of English reference material in this app comes from their work. Related entries include source pages, revisions and contributor credits.
Wiki-derived text marked CC BY-SA 4.0, including our adaptations and translations of that text, is available under that license.
This app's terms of use do not restrict what that license permits you to do with the wiki-derived text.
Project translations & additions
Building on the English reference material, Isaac Codex translates and localizes the guide into 19 other languages. These translations are prepared by this project, not official Wiki translations.
We also generate item color classifications, collect and organize player nicknames, and build search indexes to help players find information.
Free & paid features
The encyclopedia, photo identification and other core game lookup features will always be free.
Charges apply only to AI features. To help cover the substantial cost of running large language models, we offer subscriptions and deduct credits based on usage.
Game artwork
Item sprites and other game artwork are not covered by that license. They remain the property of Nicalis, Inc. and Edmund McMillen and appear here only to identify game content.
Website images
The homepage uses App Store artwork prepared by this project. Some AI examples use localized layouts rather than new conversations executed in every language. App demonstrations in guides were captured in a simulator; game screenshots retain their own source and testing notes. Images may be cropped or scaled. Image-input identification examples do not establish physical camera testing, and AI examples do not guarantee future answers.

I will carefully review each concern, communicate openly, and make any necessary corrections or adjustments based on what I find.
